Hey guys!
I've started thinking about making my next guitar a customized one. So now I'm trying to find out if there are any "cheap" guitar makers out there that also make high quality instruments. Preferably someone that ships world wide, or at least to Europe. I've been thinking about Amfisound, but other suggestions would kick major ass.
Here's what I'm thinking about getting, in case someone has ideas for cool stuff I should add:
PRS-ishly shaped guitar with less/no sharp beveled edges around the body (my PRS gives me ganglions)
Quilted maple top on mahogany, dark blue burst paint job.
Compound radius 25" scale neck, 24 extra jumbo frets, abalone moon cycles or small roman numerals for fret markers.
Original Floyd Rose
Duncan JB or Custom 5 in the bridge position, flipped/reversed Duncan Alnico Pro II in the middle position, Duncan Jazz in the neck.
5 way pickup selector, push/pull tone knob for splitting the humbuckers, push/pull volume knob for disabling everything but the bridge pickup (including the volume knob), and a mini switch for putting the coils of the humbuckers in paralell instead of serial.
Any kickass ideas as well as company suggestions are very appreciated.
