Cheap NEW Strat Body FS $65

Hi everyone... I bought this brand new body for my Gilmour project, but unfortunately it is not full thickness. It is 7/8 as thick as a standard USA Strat body. Probably the same thickness as a Squier '51.

Aside from the neck mounting holes, nothing has been drilled yet, but I could drill any holes for you if you'd like. I just bought a Stew-Mac tremolo template, so I could drill the USA vintage or 2-point trem holes for you. Or, I could simply leave as is.

The body fit my Allparts strat neck PERFECTLY. Not too snug, but with no visable gaps.


It is in NEW condition and it is VERY light. I'm thinking $65 shipped. Let me know if you have any questions.

Sure, I can hold it. It is made of Paulownia.

I just finished building one of those thinner bodies - There's a couple of places where you can get a shorter steel block (as opposed to the crappy import cast zinc block). Are you selling it because of the tremolo block poking out the back?

Yes - it is a GFS body. Brand new. Got it on Tuesday. I'm just trying to get my money back. I am offering to drill some of the holes if it helps.

I am selling because I am building a Gilmour Strat and want a full body (it doesn't say in the GFS listing that it is thinner than a standard strat body).
