I am your doctor of love!
I was just watching the YT videos on the Roland JC22
small clean Jazz Chorus
oooh - hadn't considered that. I am looking for a classic vibe, and that is indeed classic!

Also look for the Tech 21 Trademark 10 or 30, which look really cool and understated, too.
It's a shame that they've dropped out of the amp business. I've always thought that their Power Engine 60 was a sweet concept.

It is a very different animal to play. They are designed to have no warmth. The designers unlike other ss amp designers were not trying to simulate a tube amp. For this amp, this is a good thing. They have a very fast response and really pronounce the character of the guitar or anything you plug into it. For this reason they make amazing pedal platforms. Plug a MIB into it and close your eyes and you are playing a Marshall. The reverb adds a lot of depth to the sound. The chorus is of course legendary
The bonus is it is 30 watts so you can get it over the drummer especially with a dirt box pushing it. If you plug it into a cab you can move some air.
So, I will check out the Princeton this weekend if still around...
But I think I may have found the ideal Fender SS - the Champion 30! two channels, B/M/T shared, Reverb 10" Speaker.Less than $100...
Sorry, I posted this in the wrong thread, LOL. I meant to post it in the Amp Gas thread.I really want a Marshall 1936V, personally. I mean, ideally, I'd want a 1960V, but living in an apartment, probably not such a good idea. I've already got a 1960 with Greenbacks, but I kinda want some Vintage 30 love to compliment it.
