I'm not going to rescind my negative experience with Deans in the late 80s and 90s, but just because of Aceman and others swore they were good these days, I pulled a modern one off the wall at a shop recently, and yeah it played amazing. Really nice "pop" in the feel too

Missing a truss cover, and it has an EMG 81, I believe, in bridge. Both easily fixed. Got a JB already lined up! Small ding on the back, whatever. These are kinda rare. Totally stoked to have it in the stable.

I'm not gonna lie - I pulled an Orpheo on this maybe. A guy on the Dean Owners FB page asked about it. I went Intarwebz forensic, found it, and sealed the deal fast! Then, just a quick little trip to Miami to pick it up. Trip cost about as much as the guitar, but it is keeping' me out of the dog house with the girlfriend. (See pic #1). The guy I got it from is glad that it will have a good home. He's moving to an apartment and has to thin the stable.

Yeah man - Korean stuff the past 15 or so years has been pretty darn good.
