I think I've finally got the J-master project down to spec.
-Blocked and bound rosewood/maple neck. Anyone know where I can find one of these cheap?
-Surf Green w/ matching headstock. DB: I'll pay for Reranch
-Paisley pink/green/MOP pickguard for 2 humbuckers form Warmoth
-2 Brooklyn GFS pickups painted a brighter (vibrant) red; then wax potted for paint/feedback protection.
-Jazzmaster bridge and tremelo
-Big D varitone instead of second tone control.
-NV-BV-MT setup
-1 3way toggle
- 2 roller pots (undecided on the value)
- 1 regular pot for volume
- 2 mustang knobs painted red to match the pickups/other knobs
- 2 roller knobs painted to match the pickups/other knobs

I think that's about it. Did I miss anything

Discuss. Anything I should change?

Re: Check out this color scheme/spec list

ok... prob. is, Warmoth guards don't fit MIJ bodies (which is what yours is going to be based on...) or even MIA bodies, but actually, if you let me buy the pickguard first I could tailor the guitar to it... if that's what you really want. You'd just have to remember you could only use Warmoth guards on it.

wait, NV BV MT? am I missing something? what?!?!?! does that mean something?

I'm just going to go with a cheap Xicon cap - .047mfd to help with some of the brightness.

I do want the Paisley pickguard. You could just buy the materials from Warmoth. That would be a lot of work though.

Haha. I was too lazy to write out Neck volume, Bridge volume, and Master tone. This is waht happens when you're lazy, I guess. :smack:

Re: Check out this color scheme/spec list

I am fine with just having to buy Warmoth pickguards though.
