Feel free to contact weber directly for the cab. I don't need to make it come through College Station to feed my ego. I'd rather not get into the cab business. Twice the shipping charges if you get right down to it.
The thing is that they do good quality work for a reasonable price. That's the way I work as well. It does bump up the price a bit, but for some people, it's a must-have. I"m sure they don't hand-rub on 8 coats of poly or anything. To get that level of finish, you have to pay twice as much. But for most of us, this is perfect.
I don't know how it would hold up to road dings. So, if you're gigging every week, this might not be a great option, unless you are into that relic thing.

Wait.... I take that back. I like the one in your picture! Would it be less expensive, if you just sent the chassis, then that company (Mojo?) sent the head cab and empty 2-12 cab? That's one of the most beautiful amps I've seen. I don't need clips....I already know what it's gonna sound like, based on the specs.
The only thing I'd want different is gold piping around the front panel on both the head and the cab, with oxblood cloth on the cab. And a logo on the cab.

I have no problem if anyone wants to have their own enclosure built. Puckboy did that and I just sent the front badge to the builder for installation. It can either be glued on like in the photos above, or I've also got a few with four holes punched in the corners for screws.
