Chris Broderick's Jackson??

First, Im not talking about his sig model (which I think is killer). Im wanting details about the white pointed beast with the recessed knobs that he is holding on the cover and in the article in the September 2015 Guitar World.. That axe looks wicked! IMO it would have looked even better with a tilted pointy head stock.. Im looking for the model name, is it going into production? where can I find full pics?
Thanks!

Re: Chris Broderick's Jackson??

I'm guessing it's this one, right?

Not my kinda axe but it's sick, no question about it. :saeek::saeek:

BTW, it's cool to see Jackson back in the front a bit. I remember at some point in the mid 2000s they seemed like they had no major recognizable artists anymore, and now they have Misha from Periphery, Mark Morton, Chris Broderick... could be much worse, I guess.

Chris sounds great. Not liking that singer very much though...too bad.
That is a sexy guitar for sure.

I agree about the singer.. I dont get it. Why some of these killer groups are going with poor singers.. I Love Jake E Lee, but cant hardly listen to Red Dragon cartel. When I checked em out, they had some real big guy singing and he was aweful

Re: Chris Broderick's Jackson??

Looks like a Kelly Star with the front horn shaved off.

Re: Chris Broderick's Jackson??

I stand by "Kelly Star with the front horn shaved off". Broderick's guitar doesn't have the bottle opener on the rear.

Re: Chris Broderick's Jackson??

Meh. Cross between Scarab and K-Star.

Singer's good when he sings, but the shouting thing's getting played out. They're all starting to sound the same to me, just like every other grunge/alt singer had to cop Eddie Vedder, and every other hardish rock singer had to cop Hetfield's "Black" vocals (Snickelback, et al).
