I won a drawing held by a new music store in town. The giveaway was a new TRABAN 4 string bass! Very cool!
Basswood/Flame top, active pups
5 piece maple and walnut neck
maple board with tribal flame inlay
The bridge is mounted on a large chromed brass sun that is is supposed to sustain better
Grover keys

Nice man, congratulations. A bass player I used to jam w/ a while back had a Traben bass, but the bridge was attached to a huge set of flames rather than the tribal sun. I didn't like how it looked, but it played very well....btw that tribal sun model is pretty funky, and I'm sure it'll play great.

sweet catch. how much do those run for usually? I wanted one ever since I saw one in bass player magazine... and while I don't want it bad enough to run out and buy one the minute I can afford one, it never hurts to inquire. Again, great catch.

Thanks! The one posted is real close to mine. Mine is closer to orange and the board is maple with black inlays..

Very cool! I, too, got an early present! My Jackson USA SL2H!!! It's currently still in it's box...waiting till Xmas morning to crack open that tone machine! Can't wait!

Ledzep, New store call Arlin Music at the corner of beach and southside. Nice little store and the owner is cool and encourages you to try. Unlike Georges where you have to beg to hook something up. If you go there, tell Joel that Bryan sent you..
