Yes, too much, even though it is a very rare model. But prices on these kinds of ones are variable, even though they're rare, people are not as into them so there's no demand. Given the low production/shipping numbers, they didn't fare better when they were introduced, or it was more of an experiment at making a premium Roadstar.
This is the one in question, but I've never seen a cherry burst one with the HH and badass bridge. Always thought they came in silver.

But that's a later one from when Ibanez went all heavy metal.
The highest end of the original Roadstars and second generation Blazers are quite different playing wise and collecting wise.

The most stupidly priced Ibanez I've seen is a pink PL2660, where the guy was asking 8k... That solid brass Artist that's been discussed here recently is also a bit rich.
