99.99999% of claptons solos are done on the minor and major pentatonic...largely the minor. crossroads w/cream is a good example of him weaving between major and minor.
but yeah, if you know the pentatonics then you are set to try and pull off some clapton stuff....now all you need is some major blues mojo

Yeah, it looks like the major and minor pentatonics woven together. Clapton's very good at it, and makes solos like that sound like they are done in some odd exotic scale..
i think that odd sound might be throwing in notes from the natural minor scale that add a diff sound than just playin notes from the minor penta. IMHO, i havent learned the song or anything im just guessing from the vid.
