Classic Rock Amplug SUCKS!!!!!!

I bought a classic rock amplug after hearing the demos but when I used it it sounded nothing like the demos. It sounds like the thinnest most harsh tone I've ever heard. I don't know how anyone could think it sounds good. :poed:

rats, i told my brother to get me one awhile back and I think he's still planning on it. maybe I should call off the dogs.

I love mine, take it along on every business trip. I was presently surprised how well it apes the thump of a quad cab in a room, even through a set of $12 headphones.

Thump? Mine sounds way worse then any 10W solid state amp with a 8" speaker i"ve heard....

my ac30 is quite excellent. . .I don't know how they can get that sound in a little box like that, but they managed somehow.

Too bad yours isn't working for you. .

Are you plugging it into one of those Strats? Maybe it's not getting a good connection.

I had the AC30, I think the guitar pickups have a lot to do with how they sound. Do you have nice guitars with good pickups?

Well, the CR does emulate a Marshall, and in the real world, they aren't the warmest, most full sounding amps. Play your amplug along with a bass track, and see if it's better.

It does but it doesn't have a "thin sterile buzzy distortion removal knob."
