Classic Stack Plus Picture

Re: Classic Stack Plus Picture

Notice the little resistor in the upper right? The value of that resistor is based on the Helmhotz Coil test for each individual pickup. So if you order two of the same pickups, but they each have different resistor values, that's why.

And yes, it's supposed to be "start," as in the "start" and "finish" of each coil.

Also, notice in the center slot on the underside of the pickup, you can see the bar magnet. But on either side of the bar magnet, there's the end of another thin piece of metal.

That's the end of the flux transfer plate. Read the patent application to see what it does. That's the revolutionary part.

As long as they sound good who cares what else they do :headbang::beerchug:

Re: Classic Stack Plus Picture

Thanx man I think i asked for the pic haha. Yea I read the patent: the flux panel on the bottom (to absorb the noise) and the top is basically a classic single coil PU <<<GENIUS!!!:notworthy

You can see what the pickup looks like without the cover by clicking here and going to the last page of this pdf document.

Fretburner, I don't know what the price will be in Phils, but in the USA, it's around $10 higher than the old Stack. All pickup positions are the same price.
