hey guys!
what classical guitar would you recommend under 600$?

Re: classical guitar under 600$

It's very rare for a classical to have a truss rod - the string pull from nylon is much weaker than steel.

As for the guitar, Yamaha & Alvarez-Yairi both should have very decent instruments in that range.

I live in a country where the climate is extremely unstable,I gotta have a truss rod...

Re: classical guitar under 600$

Very few makers install a truss rod, whether it's a factory made guitar or one by a high end luthier. Necks on classicals are typically mahogany variants and some do a three piece laminate to impart strength.

As for makes, Yamaha, Cordoba, and Admira have decent offerings, cedar or spruce topped. I've had a cedar top Admira for a long time and it's a nice guitar for the price; I've played other more expensive guitars (including other Admiras) over the years and didn't like them as much.

takamine install adjustable truss rods. The yamaha electro classicals do also.
Its not really a big deal for classical tho. A high action gives greater projection. Super low actions are not conducive to good nylon string tone. The necks are also very beefy and under a lot less pressure than even the lightest steel string guitars. Treat the guitar like a person (i.e dont leave it in the car on a hot day, or leave it out in subzero temperatures) and it will stay happy for many years.
As far as solid woods go, you can get a solid top and back, but its pretty unlikely to get solid sides at that price point.
As far as electronics go, if you spend 600 bucks on a pure acoustic, it will be a nicer axe than a 600 dollar electro acoustic. YOu can always install a pickup with an outboard preamp which means you only have to drill a hole for the output jack and a tiny hole under the bridge saddle (fishman are nice) later if you want to play live without mic.s. Piezos sound pretty awful recorded, so a mic is still preferable for home recording.

I 2nd all of the above. But if it is at all possible, you should look into getting devices to control humidity where you keep the guitar. Classicals are highly sensitive to humidity and temp changes due to the thinness of the body

*All* solid woods under $600. How used is that supposed to be?

Fans of solid woods should probably just get a Taylor and forget about it, at least as far as new guitars are concerned.
