itbepopples said:early metallica tone is great. kill em all = great metal tone. ride had good tone and then MOP came around and they started slipping. everything after MOP has the same exact distortion drop tuning sound that i hate. also, it depends on how far ur willing to go for the tone. do u want something that will suffice or do u wanna spend some money and nail it?
