That Eventide H9 Diatonic Algorithm really spoke to me.
I use that a ton to fatten up leads. I am pretty sure it comes in the H9 Core.

death by "freedom of choice" :lmao:
I'm trying to balance my essential 5-6 pedals with one more pedal for whatever...
I guess I need to research --funny the GT-1000 core tones I've listened to so far are really hit or miss for me -some seem incredible and some laughable to me.

Yeah, I gather you love your H9!
Perhaps you are reading my reasoning for not buying one as an indictment of the H9 -it's not meant to be at all -just without new algorithms, no marketplace, and still same full price knowing something new is coming... just for me, I'd rather wait or pick something earlier in the life cycle -and only because it's software ecosystem.
They told me directly -no more new algorithms, no more marketplace (See above comment from me) As Securb said it's End of Life -its a normal thing.
The H9 is a great machine, I enjoy a lot of things about it but it is far from perfect to me and I use other boxes more frequently. My whole thing in this came from what I thought was a new announcement on an H10 or new replacement for the H9 and I never heard anything about it nor did I hear anything about cancelling the Max so I was incredibly surprised when I read some of the comments. IMO, nothing touches the Free The Tone products for sound quality of individual pedals. For what it sounded like you were wanting and the few things that you needed in a product, I think for the size and money, etc the H9 would have been a good choice. You can pick them up new for a decent amount below retail. Anyway, you have a million choices to pick from and most of them are wonderful choices either way!
There are some sounds I've heard on the H9 that I'm not hearing anything close to on other systems.
I wish they would just give a discount on the H9 or a timeline on the whatever is next.
Dial up your favorite retailer and negotiate. That is what I did.
Eventide, as a whole, does things other boxes don't do. They combine reverb, pitch shifting, and delay in ways that take many other singe pedals. The designers have done a lot of work for you in coming out with ground-breaking sounds. To do this, you need serious processing power. The Fractals have similar sounds, and I've even heard some similar stuff from Line 6, but in those boxes, it eats up a lot of processing so you can't add much more to your chain.
Whats the story on TC helicon?? I know nothing about them -do they make a great multi effects pedal guitar ?
My friend is a Neural artist -I'm going to ask him about the Neural stuff
The Neural is supposed to be a great modeler, but I thought you were looking for chorus and delays?
I'm not very interested in any TC Electronic or Line 6 products if I can help it; I'm not against it, but would rather support other companies if possible.
What do you have against Yamaha and Behringer?
On 2nd thought, nevermind... At least for the latter, I actually respect Yamaha.
Which Line 6 products had fake heat sinks plastered on? And did they use real plaster?
