Colored Quarter Pound!

Ever see a Quarter Pound strat pickup in anything other than black? Me neither, but the Custom Shop says they're working on sourcing white covers for custom QP, and they can also do a cream top on the standard QP construction. So RW/RP CREAM QP has been ordered, now I've just got to wait with a slightly longer lead time than 6 - 8 weeks.

It's be great if they had covers made that would fit the QP. I think more than a few players have hesitated to buy them because of the cosmetics.

Will do. Arwin told me I could place my order for either the white or cream, so I went with the cream to match the pickguard of my G&L. The other pickups are black, but just thought it would be cool to have the middle pup be different.

Are you referring to the color of the bobbin or actual pup"covers" like on a Strat pup?

I believe the cream is the color of the bobbin. I was told the white was a supposed to be a cover.
