i´ve heard someone seeling some packs of COLOURED STRINGS, red and black if i´m not mystakjen.
i would like to know which brand manufactures and in which colours they are avaliable to buy

My experence with the DR colored strings is kinda bad. The paint or whatever color coating chips off and is uncomfortable to me.

I don't know anything about the colored strings, but if they are colored elixir strings, then you shouldn't use a pick. I know a bassist that uses the elixirs and can get several times longer life out of them fingerpicking, but if he uses a pick, the coating comes off rather quickly.

Ahh. Thanks for the clarification. I don't think we have faggots here, in the sense of "horrible meat things," unless you count McDonald's Chicken Nuggets. Our schools serve a lot of horrible pseudo-meat things. Although, I guess it's possible that they're in the New England states and just haven't made it this far inland yet. What animal is it, or do you know?

On second thought, we're hijacking J.P.'s thread, and it's likely I'll be disgusted, anyway. I'll just imagine.

I tried the DR Black Beauties, sounded harsh and the coating wears off fairly quickly. I went right back to my good old D'Addario XL 120 set and that's what I'm staying with.
