comparing JB Jr. with Lil 59

These pickups are identical, are they not? Does anybody know if Janick Gers of Iron Maiden perhaps could be playing Lil 59's, cause they are identical to JB Jr.'s. But anyway, could someone help me compare these two? Thanks.

I think the difference would be in the windings. I know a guy with two Iron Maiden signature Strats, and he said they had JB jr's in the bridge.
