Yes to all, but you need to think it thru...
For me, the outer ring is easier to find in performance, so I put heavily used circuits like volume, blenders, tones or bass roll offs on the outside...
I use inner for set and forget like spin a split or tone if rarely used...
Great way to get more funtions, no drilling and easy to see settings...

i have a two bucker guitar that had mv/mt so i replaced them with two concentric pots so i could have individual volumes and tones. it took a bit of getting used to but now i dont even think about it. works fine and has been reliable for years.
