B basguitar New member Nov 3, 2012 #1 I have a Fender Blacktop Tele. I want to install the Hot Rodded humbucker set (SH-4& SH-2). what control plate should I use so that I can use the coil tapping with these pickups and still keep the Tele look?

You can just get a push pull pot and swap out the tone or volume pot that's on there now following this diagram http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=tele_2hum_2pushpull . you can get a 5 way switch to replace your 3 way switch using this wiring diagram http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=2hb_1vol_1tone_5way Those two examples only would require you to buy just one new part and keep your tele looking stock.
