hell i don't care. i'm going to use a metal muff with it anyway. i didn't really like the distortion on my mesa express either, but it sounded excellent with my metal zone pedal. i think it's going to work out.
a lot of people don't seem to notice, but there is a 30 watt mode that sounds awesome. very vintage and fat. also, from what i've read, changing to 6l6 tubes makes a world of difference.
