I'm suprised that no one has really mentioned the Silver Face Fenders. Back in the '70s I played an outdoor festival, using a pair of SF Dual Showman Reverb amps daisy-chained together with four 215 JBL SF cabs. What a glorious sound! Definitely felt my bellbottoms blowing in the breeze! Love the Super Six and Quad Reverb amps from this era.

Agreed on Silverface; Blackface has half the visual appeal to me. Only the Solid State Super Showman looks better to me for Fender

I know it's basically a Marshall but it's the subtle cosmetic differences I like.

My father had an old 50s Fender Twin he supposedly (you never really knew about the accuracy of his stories) rescued from a chicken coop all covered in bird crap. I suppose that look would qualify more as poignant than cool.

I think my Frudua/The Valve ‘Bimbo’ is pretty cool looking. My blue paisley Deluxe reverb is also pretty cool. Then there is my recovered Classic 30. My Bogner Atma looks like something out of the 50’s or 60’s.

I’ve also got a Marshall 1974X clone and a Suhr Badger that, while not covered in anything fancy look great.

I think most amps look cool
