cort guitars

Re: cort guitars

I own a Cort VX-2V since 2007 and it's still in good condition. Got it for 350 euros back then but hey, it was worth it. It's made in Indonesia by the way.

Big fan of the Matt Murphy Sig.

Bill
Got one with A2's and a Larry Coryell Sig with 59's and a Bigsby B6 and they are both seriously good guitars.

Cort's top of the line accoustics go under the brand name Parkwood, all solid timbers and amazing value, though still not cheap.

Re: cort guitars

I got a Cort Sunset 1 a year or so ago. Cost me $700 but was very hard to find one. Superb build, as good as any of my US guitars, has TV Jones filtertrons, B50 Bigsby, Grover tuners, tonepro bridge. About only thing I didn't like was chicken head knobs, so put some Gretsch ones on. It is a continuation of the Spectrasonic model Gretsch stopped making, although if you have the money can get essentially same from TV Jones for around $2300 (with case).
This is an amazingly great guitar. Sounds like Gretsch and/or Ric. Steal the rest of my guitars (some 2-3x in price), but leave this one.
