A guy I know had a cheap dean/cheap ibanez something (dont remember what) he was asking $400 for (they went for that new)
I told him he needed to ask about $150-$200 for it, he told me he MIGHT take $200-$250 for it, but he wouldnt list it for that because then he didnt have any room to haggle.

MSRP for a Faded SG is about $1150, but walk into any GC and the asking price is $700. Street price is $450 - $550, anecdotally speaking, for one in "like new" condition.
