crazy idea for the crazy 8

So i've got a hss capeable mim strat and I definately don't care for the current bridge tone and have a spare crazy 8 sitting around that is calling out to me to be put in this guitar. I've been reading up here about crazy wiring schemes and Artie's virtual 3rd humbucker idea sounds very interesting and I was wondering what would be necessary/how would I wire it up so that I could do like the bridge slug+neck or bridge slug+mid. Would this idea even work/be useable--blending a normal single with half of a parallel axis? Other ideas/suggestions welcome as well. Thanks in advance for any input.

IMH (but biased) O, I'd say it would work great. I'm not sure though, whether the RW/RP middle or neck would hum-cancel with the stud coil of the bridge. I'll work on a couple of diagrams today, and post back some options tonight.

I just installed a Crazy 8 in my MG 100 with a pair of Dimarzio Blue Velvet singles the middle is RW/RP. No it does not hum-cancel when split with the RW/RP in the middle and using the Green as hot and Black as ground ( had to reverse um to get it in phase ) .
This set up works well together tone wise. I think an Alnico II flat set would also match the Crazy 8 pretty well.
