BTMN
LifeIsGoodologist
In my life I have found it is NEVER frickin' easy. EVER!!! :friday:
First off, work has been an emotional rollercoaster for about 6 weeks with the last 3 being REALLY crazy. :eyecrazy:
Also in the last 3 weeks, I was blindsided by the G.A.S. induced by A Hamerfanclub board meber posting his custom Korina Vector as still F/S. As Not Steve over there noted way back when it was offered this Spring, "It screams, BTMN!!!!!" :scratchch :28: :approve:
The day I was giving it the most thought, and I was beginning to make a decision on what to sell to make it happen, another HFCer posted wanting a Daytona. Well My Black Daytona was one I had thought I would let go and I took it as a "sign" . Harry loves it and I had a good deposit to approach Matt for the Vector. Matt and I talked and I told him about a few others I was going to put up for sale. He gave me a time frame and refused a down payment, wishing one payment. I could live with that. I mentioned I was waiting for a jack plate to fix my BC Rich Son of a Rich to put that up. I had ordered it and it came this past Saturday.
Meanwhile, the work situation got intense on Friday afternoon and continues somewhat. I feel good that by organizing the team I work with and getting some other things done behind the scenes it is making that flow smoother. Been paying my karma forward in that area of Life for sure. :cool2:
Speaking of karma, last Thursday my lil '89 Acura, Lil Red, clocked 210,000 miles on the way home just as I was leaving work. I've driven 163,500 or so of those. Friday evening on the way home I stopped at the store to get a few things. When I came out my driver's side door is open. Upon exam I discover broken metal around the lock assembly and I have to drive the last 6 blocks to my house redneck style with the door open essentially. A friend helps me get that latched with plans to take it to the body shop come Monday. Saturday and Sunday morning I entered the vehicle through the passenger door but during the day when it wasn't raining I NASCARed it in and out the driver's window Jeff Burton style. Saturday and Sunday also brought an occasional grinding crunchy sound from the right front end when I backed out of the driveway to go in the mornings.
Back to work for a second, also speaking of karma, Sunday was a day off but I spent the morning taking my client to see his father in the hospital. His father was in the hospital on his birthday and my client and I had made cupcakes on Saturday. We rode up in the other nurse's car to see him. I gave his father a funny card with cash 3 and play 4 tickets in it, numbers 824 and 0824 for the date. Poor guy, 845 and 5845 came in. I had bought 128 for the afternoon drawing. On my way home I hit the grocery store, bought some supplies and a few evening lottery tickets, a couple cash 3, a play 4, a fantasy 5, and a scratch off. Got two bucks back on the $1 dollar scratch off and matched a number on the Fantasy 5 to get $3 back of the $2 I spent on that ticket right away. :approve:
When I got home I started playing guitars and talking to a couple guys about deals as I was back to thinking about Matt's Vector. The Son Of A Rich KICKS ASS!!! Thought I would sell that one since it doesn't get played enough and the two guys I thought might want first crack were tapped out. No sale on the import I called another guy about either. As I kept getting guitars out, I settled on 4 I was gonna post up on Monday morning F/S including the two mentioned. :banghead:
Sunday evening while multitasking, watching NASCAR results and highlights, playing/choosing guitars, surfing the boards I'm addicted to, I kept trying to check the Florida lottery site cause I missed the TV announcement of the Cash3 and Play4 numbers at 8pm. Each time I cued up the site my machine locked up and I had to reboot. FINALLY at 9:30 I found out I had hit the Play4 Straight and boxed winning $2600. :approve: :approve: :approve:
Vector purchase price problem solved!!!!!! :cool2:

When I left Monday morning to go over to the Lottery office to collect my claim, that noise from the right front was back nastier than the two days before. It had went away right away Sat./Sun. and pretty much did then too. I drove over to Tampa and back 25 miles each way pretty much all highway. As I got closer to home that noise was really getting nasty. I came in, called the shop to tell them I was coming over, left to go, and went 4 blocks before the right front axle joint fell out.
h:
So the car was at the shop for a new cv axle and transmission mount on Monday, door got fixed today, I wont have to sell ANY guitars to buy Matt's Vector after all because the Vector is paid in full, Lottery money is ALMOST gone, and ya know what? :dot:
