Cream inside my Dunlop Crybaby 535q wah

Hi guys,

Just decided to Open my Dunlop Crybaby 535q wah (9 volts) with red Fasel inductor,

and Notice theres this dab of white Cream near the teeth of the piece of Plastic that moves the Potentiometer when you rock it.

1) Did the makers of this pedal accidentally dab this cream inside my wah ?

2) or is it some sort of lubricating cream to place on the Pedal's Plastic Rocker teeth which is connected to the Potentiometer to lubricate it ?

3) To the users of the Crybaby 535q, or any Crybaby wah, Does your crybaby have this Dab or Blob of white Cream inside when you open it ?

Thanks

Every Crybaby I've had has had that. It looks to me like a lithium grease to keep the plastic on plastic contact of the mechanism from making noise.

Its a Blob of white cream near the Rocker teeth, should I spread it all over the Teeth of the Plastic Rocker :)

I thought that a Worker at a Crybaby Factory was using some sort of Hand Cream while on the Job, and accidentally Squirted a Blob of Cream inside my Crybaby. :)

Sorry, its the First Crybaby I opened, I dont neccesarily open pedals unless its Broken,

I opened it just to make sure the Dunlop 535q has a Red fasel Inductor :)

might try a yellow fasel,
