hi,

can i use the "boss psa-230p ac 230v dc 9v" for the original dunlop crybaby?

or do i have to use dunlop adaptors?

Re: crybaby adaptor

I got a much better answer, what type of voltage ... AC or DC, what's pin polarity ... What's the voltage ... 9V, 12V 15 V 18V ?,What is the maximum current draw in mA ... Does the adaptor have to be regualted or non-regulated? >>>>>>>>>> RTM!

Re: crybaby adaptor

Any 9v DC adapter with a current of more than 20ma, and a centre negative polarity will work with a Crybaby :)

So that BOSS adapter should work fine I think.

Wahs don't always like being powered off the same power supply that other pedals are plugged into.

Alot of people who power their whole board still end up running their wah off batteries.

I can't remember why it doesn't like it though......

I can't remember either, but I'm going to back you up here, as I've heard similar complaints. Although, an actual buffer power supply , with isolated outputs (no common grounds) tends to work well.
