Custom 5/Jazz or S-Deco/Full Shred?

Hello Fellow Tone-Tweakers

I'm putting pickups in a new guitar (see signature below) that I actually already have in a different finish with a Custom 5/Jazz N combination.
I play instrumental rock, a little industrial flavored metal and a little heavy blues. The guitar is the familiar formula of mahogany body, maple top, mahogany neck, rosewood board.
I have found the Custom 5 and Jazz N combo to be really well matched and I was considering a S-Deco bridge and Full Shred neck in this new one.
My question is,
A) how would the S-Deco and Full Shred N match together?
B) how would they compare to the C5/Jazz N combo on the other guitar?

Sometimes it's hard to get good tips and responses on here so many thanks to anyone who has used these pickups and can offer their opinions.
If anyone has questions about any of the pickups you see in my signature, I'd be happy to lend my advice.....
Thanks guys................

Re: Custom 5/Jazz or S-Deco/Full Shred?

I can't comment on the FS, but I can compare the c5 and the S Deco. Compared to the C5, the Deco has a much flatter, wider frequency range with less dramatic peaks and valleys. Think of it as a hi-fi PAF with a bit more output and you have the right idea. It's incredibly percussive, sings under gain without losing sparkle or definition, and has a much tighter, more agressive (to my ears) voicing than the C5. Imagine combining a good PAF with a great tele pickup and bumping up the output and you'd be in the ballpark.
