Custom 5 (SH-14) which volume pot?

I'm rewiring a Kramer Pacer Classic and I'm putting a SH-14 in the bridge. Since I'm replacing all the pots and switches I was wondering if maybe I should use a 250 k pot for that pickup, since so many find it mids lacking. Perhaps a 250k would tame the highs enough to let the mids shine through?

Thoughts?

For me, definitely a 250K, preferrably two. It's a fairly bright, scooped PU.
