I'm sure most of you are savvy about Port City amps & cabs so I'll spare you lengthy details. For those of you who aren't as familiar, I'll tell you a bit about it.
The Pearl is a 50w head with a 6L6 power section, effects loop, and a simple control layout. Despite it's cosmetic simplicity, its versatility is deceptive. The EQ controls are very effective and together with the bright switch, covers a lot of ground. It's a very clean amp with an incredibly beautiful and lush clean sound. The Pearl has two important design considerations built in - that it gives up great tone at all volume levels, and that it lends itself to one of the absolute best pedal platforms.
