Finally, another bassist!

SVT 8 x 10, 4 x 10, 2 x 10/15 or twin 15? Why or why not?

Hmmm a friend has a 8x10's love it, but it's heavy, a 4x10 is heavy enough lol.
I like the idea of the twin 15's but the rest of the band might lol ('I can't hear my guitar leads" lol)

I want the bass to change your heart beat to what I'm laying down, vibrate your body your teeth................:headbang:

What is the absolute worst thing that you've ever come across while doing your job as a fireman/medic? Military service not included.

There are so many, I've been doing this 19 years now lol
I remember a call, were a guy on a crotch rocket blew a red light and hit the back side of a car so hard, it buckled all four tires. And a fine dust like blood mist spray all over the car. And there was a chunk of helmet wedge into the rim of the back tire. The frontend of the bike had blown apart and all you could see was the back tire and some of the engine. The guy was wearing a full face helmet, which did him absolutely no good as he was traveling approx 110 mph. The biggest piece of his helmet was about a dollar size, and Ironicly it had "Bell" stamped on it. As I approached the patient I could see clearly that he was dead, and that he was a white male, but that was it. Because from his ear lobes up was vaporized and there was brain and bone and hair fragments everywhere. And because he was going at such a fast rate of speed and most of his head was gone. His internal organs (lungs, heart, liver and intestines) shot out of his neck onto the road. And his right arm was broken in a million piece and wrap around him several times. I was in awe of what the human body could endure before failing completely. There are certain calls that you will never forget and I guess that is one of them.

I know this is graphic and I am glad to let some of this go.

It's not about flash, or solo's it's about getting the job done and keeping the groove going. It's about being the foundation the base of the band.

Yes several, I think they are awesome, while not my thing I can really dig the talent it takes. I would love to learn how to play an upright.
