Bufff! I have to say that you all guys rock!!! I really liked the different styles and tones. I have to say that I am not fully satisfied (I am a bit out of the rythm) with mine, especially compared with yours!!!

Anyway I'll do better next time...

It was a real blast being involved with this. Thanx for all the hard work, Stevo!! One of the happiest accidents was the pairing of Wattage's solo to mine ... they flow very well together, like it was intentional!

Thanks for the great idea Stevo! :)

I just blew my solo out in a first take while I was trying out the effect of my pedals on my POD.

The overdrive (Boss OD-1) worked well, but when I added my Proco RAT and then my Vox wah I think the POD couldn't handle it.
The sound turned into a screeching mess:smack: , but I went on until the end, anyway. :rolleyes:

Great fun, some great players here and I can't wait for the next one. :dance:

Digital. Ran the Tele into a DD-3 to my Boss Amp Factory (blackface) into the soundcard. Came up with the lick and doubled it since my tube-pre crapped out and I wanted at least a little thickness to it.

What did you use? I've had gas for the line 6 guitar port, But I'm not
sure it's for me? I have no use for the amp sims in cakewalk,Revalver
and ampiltube. I'm not gonna drop a 100 beans on the line 6 stuff
untill I'm asured it's a class above the other amp sims?
ME..Guitar, grey curlycord ,BF Princeton. Ok!! I'll admit I did use some
digital tricks :evil: In cakewalk there where 2 notes that I felt could
be a little thicker. So I cut and pasted in the wave editor and ran them
in track 2 slightly out of sync w/t the original track to create a delay
effect. I feel better now I got that deep dark secret off my chest !! :laugh2:

KMC i used a guitarport, same thing you are talking about there........ its got some real nice tones to be dialed in..... but sometimes they are hard to find...... i can get some real nice marshall and fender tones, and the bassman and tweed models are cool also....... as long as your not wanting really nice soldano and mesa boogie tones, the guitar port is very cool....and has a real nice tubescreamer and the fuzz is alright too........i also really like the cab options, the mic options, and the other effects such as the reverb, vibrato, vibe, and delays

very easy interface also

Wow, Soulman, this is surprising... I thought you had one of the best solo on there, both in terms of playing and tone... you got great dynamics with the line 6 POD. I was told that good analog pedals do a great job with digital modeler. You proved it here. Always wanted a Rat...

Hey Stevo, I see you raised the volume a bit on my part in the final mix... thanks. It's still a little thin, but I'm a little more there :).

The final mix sounds awsome... count me in next time! :arms:

I used my Les Paul/plexi for the main rythm and my tele/plexi for the bridge. The recording mic was on a greenback speaker for both :) It sounds much better live.
