Well Bro's ,after Jonesers nice review ,i went to the music shop ,and tested 112 and 212 versions.
40 minutes ,Jackson Kelly with JB/Jazz and Cordial Cable ...
First of all ,Cleans and Crunch models are great. But they are not in my profession ,so i won't comment on them!
The 112 has more puch ,and the 212 has more sparkle ,but more wolume and headroom!Too much for the bedroom tho!
The V30 is working perfect..
The Delays are working great.Sweep echo is really cool and sounds natural.
Chorus is to die for ,and Reverb is descent!
So...Hi-gain!
The Metal (spinal puppet) model is a riffing monster...The Presence knob and the Mid knob has a big effect not only over the EQ ,but also over the voicing. So just by tweaking on mid and presence knobs can give from darkest BlackMetal tones to EVH style searing lead tones. The model is somehow more like an Engl..Not Marshall or Mesa in nature...It sounds clearly better than the Pod brothers ,and the Evolution is immence..In a good way...
The Insane Model is just amazing.Every Marshall fan would be really happy with it.The Presence knob is the most important knob aon that model. It controls the bridge between a tube feel ,and a digital fizz.So be aware...
I pushed the volume to 11 oclock ,ad it was daaaaaaaaaaaaaaarn loud...But really clean and never mushy.
even on 220bpm riffage (quarter notes) ,extreme clear and transparent!
The only thing's lacking is the biiig bottom. It's not a dream amp for 7 stringers ,or baritones...You need a 4x12 Bogner cab for that!
All in all ,a good combination .Line6 and Bogner did a great job ,and it's clearly the future...Versatile ,descent and well priced!
It's not a good tube amp..But really close ,and the line out is just a big plus...
