Daisey Chain Chord to power pedals?

I am planning a pedal board. I think I have everything that I will need and use.

I want to run all of the chords under the board.

Here is my question.
I have a Godlyke Powerall Universal Powersupply, would it be okay to cut the daisey chain chord that comes with it and extend the wire lengths? As long as I do it correctly and get the right chords hooked back together I wouldn't think there would be a problem. I just wanted to know before I tare up some perfectly good equipment.

Thanks,
Eric

I did it and it all works fine. I used a onespot and the daisy chain. I also cut it so I could run it neatly under the board. I also added a couple of cennections and it all works fine. You have to tin the wires and get a good flow of solder to reconnect it, other than that no issues. Quiet clean and everything works.

You play chords on guitars and pianos, you don't use them to power your pedals. ;) :D

Just as long as you keep track of the wires and use heat-shrink tubing to protect the extensions I don't think you'll have a problem.

Thanks guys. I need to get started on this thing. I got the signal flow down, all I need to do is plan where all of the pedals will go, decide the lay out, then figure out how and what to build it out of, then attach everything, wire it, then play.
