damnnn, i have completely lost the urge to play

well, after camp, i havent had the urge really to play. i played today, had a little urge, and honestly couldnt play for my life! it seems like i lost it all, but tis happened before and it only takes a little to get over the hump. could someone please post something to hlep me get back? something like an allmans or skynyrd type thing, like guitars guitars guitars.....thanks

the only time I lose the urge to play is after I play a show sometimes. I come in late, unload my crap back into my downstairs... and I get too lazy to set up the cables, pedalboard, and organize everything for on average a week.

I usually play acoustic for that week (if i even play) because I'm one lazy SOB sometimes....

I'm in that zone, too. I put up the fence all week, my hands were hurting, cut and blistered. Now, they just don't want to do what I tell them.

IMHO.......

1. Take a break and go do something else that you haven't done in a while but enjoy. 2. Think back to why you started playing in the first place.
3. Don't try to be better than anyone other than yourself. It's too easy to psych yourself out trying to play that last Vai tune that you heard.

Put some music on that make you feel well......it always works
