Dan Armstrong London bass

Hi guys,

I just picked up a 1974 Dan Armstrong London bass (sliding pickup model). It's electrics have disintegrated. I want to rebuild with new parts. The main problem is I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere! It still had the original transformer.

Can anyone help me please?

Welcome to the forum.

I would imagine that you best bet for information is Kent Armstrong.

Meanwhile, please post photographs of whatever remains of the DA electronics. It ought to be possible to suss something out from first principles. Obviously, bespoke parts such as the pickup module connectors are going to be tricky to source.

Hi, thank you!

I've been trying to get in touch with Ken.

The pickup is working well, as is the transformer it is just the wiring and some new pots, it was moded at some point with a switch and the solder joints were very dry and all the wires have come away from the terminals. I'll post a picture tonight.

The configuration is two 500k pots one cap, transformer and a jack socket.
