Dark gold humbucker cover

Call me what you will but I bought one of those Harley Benton SC Custom II Vintage guitars. I'll probably keep it since the neck fits my hand like a dream. Stunner looker (nothwithstanding the really sloppy finish), all mahogany, very midrange sounding axe, decent sustain, put a Custom 5 in the bridge - works well, adds bass and sparkle. It will need a fret rub because I have to same note twice on the 19th and 20th fret on the D string. That one fret is really much higher than the rest.

What's really cool on this guitar is the dark gold hardware. It's orange yellow, and very different from the gold seen on other guitars.

So I'm looking for a dark gold HB cover for the C5.

Darker gold is usually 12 to 18 carat. The brighter gold is 8 to 12 carat. Basically - heavier gold plating.

I have Gibson VOS pickups and even with the aging process, the pickups do not appear darker. Not sure what you would do.

Haha... I'm sure it isn't gold.
The link you provided states gold hardware package.

This is accurate. I've been using gold hardware on builds for nearly 30 years.
I'm guessing the guitar has the heavier gold plating, which does appear 'darker'.
