Re: Dave Mustaine dropped the ESP endorsement!

Gibson also put out what is (next to Ace Frehley's original '73 cherry sunburst Les Paul custom), the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen back in '88. It was a crimson
red Les Paul Custom with two EMG humbuckers and black hardware. I've never seen that guitar anywhere since!
I remember that was a special order for about 3 years. It came in a few unique colors, I saw a copper one in a music store used. It had dual EMG-60 humbuckers- I always thought it was an odd choice since everyone at the time was using 81's and 85's
If its the same one I'm thinking of I saw a pink one at the GC in Oxford Valley, PA kinda odd. I just thought someone did it themselves.
A few years ago I took a 2001 Black LP Custom and took all the gold hardware off it and changed it out to black. It looked bad ass.

From the looks of this thread, it seems I'm the only one who really doesn't care. I'm not trying to put anyone down for caring, I just don't understand why Dave Mustaine endorsement matters warrants this thread response.
I don't think so, that was Mustaine's shape. Can you still but the Y2KV from Jackson? Or it has to be ordered via Custom Shop?
