Tsk tsk people... y'all forgot the all important 'make fun of ESP or Mustaine' factor in this thread. Heck, or Dean and Gibson even. This is not just about Mustaine. I doubt any of the dudes who posted here would consider buying his guitar.

I have a lot of respect for Mustaine, he has consistantly put stuff I like and he is one the old dogs. Most bands don't last anywhere near as long as Megadeth, especiallly doing material of that nature. I never liked Vs much, but I am glad he has some signature guitars and pups, I think he has earned them.

id consider buying one of his LTD or ESP sigs. a friend of mine has one, its a damn fine instrument. im not really big on the ESP pointy V though, at least in comparison to rounded Vs or RRs. its a bit wider from the tips of each wing than the king V and looks kinda stretched because of that. also its got smaller frets than other ESPs cause....yknow...its mustaine. still, theyre great guitars.

well, i never thought much of ESP. Always been a Jackson kinda person. so ESP V or Jackson King V? I'd definitely go with Jackson even if he didnt endorse it anymore.

you're probably right... it'd have to be exactly what i would want, down to the last detail.
if it's not, i'd rather not buy it
