If these are anything like the 50W Helios from Bogner, the overdrive/gain structure would better suit my tastes. Nice amps for sure. Almost pulled the trigger on a well priced Buxom Betty awhile back.

Yes, want indeed. $ 6000 for amp and 2/12 cabinet in my neck of the woods.

I look at it like this, if I had been able to get my BE-100 first, I could have saved many thousands. Something like the BE is such a versatile amp, it probably comes out cheaper for most people over chasing a sound with different amps and pedals.

Same thing with the AFX. I sold almost every pedal I have and will order the AFX III. I come out cheaper by a mile.

I've blown my gear budget for this year. I'm figuring by May or June 2019 I'm going to have a new amp. This is on the list for sure. Trouble is there are 4 other amps as well.
Have a while to chew on it.

Until he comes out with a two-channel Dirty Shirley.

I love Friedman stuff.

You can buy a Shirley and have Dave put a clean channel on it. A friend of mine did that. He gigs that amp regularly.

The BE 50 Deluxe is basically all of Dave's amps in one. Having had all of Dave's amps (except the BE50) and having played another friend's Deluxe, that's the opinion that I came away with.

Yep! I've talked to Dave, he's not averse to doing some custom stuff here and there. I just gotta come up with the $$ for it.
