Dean custom 550 floyd?

To owners/ people who've tried one

What are they like? Just tell me everything you can about them as I am currently getting a bit obsessed and unfortunately cannot try one out
myself at the moment. I'm mainly asking as I don't want to just purchase on impulse (despite what my brain keeps saying).

Also, are there better (but similar) guitars out there that are in the same price range? (UK price £568, you do the maths if you need USD)

Thanks. I did find Schecters that were similar, but set neck, not thru neck. I haven't actually found any thru neck guitars at similar price to this one. Any idea what they play like?

I have one of these, a 350:

Same deal with binding. The neck joint is super awesome though. I played a couple. They are solid guitars. I'd never pay $600 for it though. At $400/450 US, however - easy decision.

A 350 is a bolt on, isn't it? The 550 is neck through. Pickups are higher end in the 550 too. Looks like the 350 has a Floyd Rose Special, the 550 has a Floyd Rose 1000. (Korean made Original, basically.)
