IMO the jackson Randy Rhoads Offset V is the coolist looking V guitar. Between Gibson and dean I would pick Gibson, mainly because I like the feel and playability of them.

... gibson V's aren't my thing at all, i really dont like the headstock on em' and they all got pickgaurds... I got a nice big background of a dean '79 in braziliaburst(SP?), absolutely b-e-a-utiful.

I would have to agree!!!!!!!!! Dean 79' V's are beautiful....I love the headstock too.......the gibson head stocks make the guitar seem too skinny tall-wise......plus with dean its like your getting to V's for one! :laugh2:

im talking about the flying V custom though........

i like those a ton more than regular ones. but i still dig the standards too

Here's me with my Dean V back in about 1983.

That was a great guitar, I loved it. Now I'm much older now and (supposedly) more mature, and have no interest in V's but when I saw the ad for Dean's Michael Schenker model last month, I almost wet myself.

+1 for Dean V's

P.S. I don't like ML, it's simply too big.

The other guitarist has a korean dean ML, is awesome. I can only imagine the higher end stuff being amazing. Havent played a Gibson V so ill just judge on looks... Dean!!! They just look so much cooler to me

About Charvel and Jackson Vs....They play great too! Though I owned a Charvel Rhodes...the 1/4 inch jack was in located at the bottom fin on the in fin....Don't know how to explain it, but it was a pain to sit down and play. I have tweaked the jack/and cracked the plastic plate there before. Found a chrome and fixed the problem. If the Jack is on top of the body it would have made that guitar great to sit down and play.
