Decision 2022: Full Shred Neck

After much contemplation of the grasshoppa and the pebble (old Kung Fu TV show), I've decided for sure on the Full Shred neck pickup as the neck pickup of choice for my theoretical but soon-to-be real shredder Floyd-Rose equipped hair metal axe.

The bridge of course will be my 80's JBJ-labelled JB.

My opinion here was reinforced thanks to Clint, who assured me that, and I quote (but not verbatim), "YOu cAn hAz ALL dA mEtULLLZ!".

That, and the fact that the pickup has "shred" in the name.

Sounds good. I actually won a hot pink Full Shred neck humbucker in a SDUGF competition years back. It has spent the last decade in a friend's SG, and it will stay there for as long as he wants it. I have a bridge FS that I am going to mount in one of my Barettas one of these days: a Nightswan briefly passed through my hands last December, and I was extremely impressed by the pickup.

It is a great pickup. I have a SoCal where I installed Full Shred neck and bridge and also an MIM Strat with JB and Jazz neck, but I never tried your combo, let us know how you like it. Both the Jazz and Full shred neck are great for lead and rhythm, not a like a true single coil but definitively can get you close enough to enjoy it.
