ok so i got $400 for a guitar (dont say add in more money, i dont feel like explaining this all again so just trust me) right now i kinda got it down to 4 or 5, but feel welcome to throw in some ideas. and pick which of these is the best choice...

agile lp 2500 new for $200

agile lp 3000 prestige new for $350

washburn WI64 new for $400 http://images.misupply.com/products/full/Washburn/83517.jpg

esp/ltd viper used for $3-350

epi goth lp used for $3-350

Re: decisions decisions....

i think the agile 2500 would be the best deal, it already comes with better parts than the epi's and they're cheaper.

Re: decisions decisions....

i didnt know how the agiles compare to the epi. i have a feeling if i do decide to go agile ill go with the prestige though. just looks so perdy.

Re: decisions decisions....

All good choices, but LP's higher fret access blows IMHO. I'd go with the LTD, but I'd go with an H302. Neck thru, http://www.chrisguitars.com has one for $350. Maple top, neck thru, strat style, niice.

Re: decisions decisions....

Out of that list, I would go with the Washburn, but at least take a look at the PRS Tremonti SE...still the most impressive foreign-built guitar I've ever tried.

Re: decisions decisions....

I have an Epi LP custom ($600) and an Agile Valkyrie (sg copy $200) and the Epi totally blows but the Agile rocks! Im going to sell my Epi for the AL3000 :headbang:

Re: decisions decisions....

Id say the Washburn or the Ltd, all the ones i have tried have oozed quality. I agree with rspst14 about the tremonti SE, is a very good quality instrument.

Re: decisions decisions....

The Washburn is higher quality than all the other guitars listed in this post. I've played them, used one, it's a great guitar. It balances out kind of like a les paul but it's got a thin body and neck like an SG, it's like putting the two guitars together. I really advocate this one.

Re: decisions decisions....

check out the prs se, while i dont ahve one, i ahve played a few nice ones (both tremonties)...new pups and ur set with one of those...
