ok i tried soldering a pickups with cold heat and its such a bich . but anyways if i touch the pickup wires with the cold heat split tips will it demagnitize my pickup?(trying to install jazz sh-2n)
the cold heat soldering iron is garbage. Go to radio shack and get their cheapest soldering iron. I had the cold heat iron, it does not last, after a little use the tips don't stay in, they wear out easily, etc...
