Today's session has a Rainbow-inspired section so I did my best to channel that Blackmore feeling.

Thanks for listening! When the synths are added it will flesh it out a bit more. Blackmore's style is so unique -- there are fast, classical inspired lines, Hendrix-y pentatonic lines and these random, Jimmy Page type of lines. That solo was 100% improvised and not comp'd. Just kept playing over and over until I had a take that was more 'right' than 'wrong. Keeping the extreme bending in key was a real challenge!

I think the keeper was Number 13.

Just needs IMO a bit more hair and volume. On the guitar at least. Great tone though.
