Did anyone score a JSX yet?

Just curious, I am updating my rig shortly and I am not sure what I want to do.

I may switch to the Valvetroinx head, may just add a 2x12 cab to the XXX combo or ? I like Peavey regardless of some others low opinions of them.

I'm curious to hear reactions to the JSX, as well. People like to talk sh*t about Peavey, but the 5150 & XXX are awesome.

I tried one out with an XXX cab at NAMM... I thought the cleans were WAY above average for an el34 amp. The crunch channel was pretty tasty and the hi gain channel was very good, but nothing spectacular. The EQ worked well and the amp retained clarity at high volume very well.

I need to go try one out, but I can't imagine my XXX with EL34's in the power section would be all that different from it.

I used to have an XXX and comparing it to a JSX it had a VERY different character with EL34's in it..

Oh EL34's make a big difference. I am more curious on the clean's and really how the overall amp is. I am really looking more for someone who owns it, how is living with it?

+1. I also, personally think that Peavey make the best cheap SS metal amps on the planet.
