Didn't get this problem with tape :)

Well I was going to be posting a new track but when it came to exporting from Cubase the slight honk from certain rhythm guitar notes which I'd not noticed turned into a full blown fog horn.
It's one of the oddities of hard disk recording I suppose, but it would be nice if it sounded the same once mixed down as it did in Cubase.
And no the stereo signal was not in the red, not in the slightest.
Me thinks I may need to re-do the tracks... which will have wait till tomorrow as the wife's home now and valve amps at full pelt are not her thing

Plus tape takes overload in a much nicer way
