Diezel Paul Arriving on Monday

Took a chance and bought a Diezel Paul with limited information and 3 crappy NAMM videos on Youtube. If that's not a testament to the quality and tone of Diezel then I don't know what is. Been exclusive to Marshalls for a long time so really looking forward to the change. I haven't seen this amp come up here so that surprises me. It seems there is plenty to discuss about Diezel's latest. Does anyone own a Paul or play one yet? What are your thoughts at this time?

I had to look it up, since I hadn't heard of this model. Diezel's are great, if you find the one that suits your style......and have a big wallet. At least they're worth the money.

Pretty much the Schmidt reborn in class A/B. It's billed as Diezel's vintage voiced offering. I think digital reverb would usually be offputting to some people but since it's a Diezel then it has to be good. Not many good videos and most using single coils. A member of the Diezel forum posted some sound clips but they were more along the lines of classic rock. I have no idea how it will handle the brootz. No DJENT demos yet. This is probably the most comprehensive video but still a noisy NAMM demo.

Re: Diezel Paul Arriving on Monday

I noticed in the video that Egnater was next door. Egnater is notorious for ripping off Bogner and Diezel. If you can't afford a Diezel, find a used Vengeance or Armageddon. They're great Diezel clones.

Notice, they even put Diezel knobs on them.....that's the first clue that Egnater cloned a Diezel. I loved my Vengeance head since the cleans and gain sounded just like a Diezel. In the end, I realized it wasn't exactly my sound so I sold it.
